Peter has many years experience honing his craft. As a master craftsman, Peter's love for wood carving is obvious in his work. Throughout our day together, Peter will help you train your eye, use moulding clay to practice creating our bird shape before carefully carving out our birds. You'll learn how to create shape and texture, turning a piece of wood into something of beauty. Experience the joy that comes from making something with your own hands. You'll leave brimming with new knowledge and full of pride in your own achievement. Not only that, but you'll take home your own, hand carved bird - made by you! (Your carving will be palm sized, approximately 150mm)

Please note that this is a fully functioning commercial factory that I share with another maker. During our sessions together, there may be a lot of noise and ‘making’ that’s happening in the background. I hope you’ll appreciate the benefits of experiencing a real-life maker space and forgive the noise and mess that may come with it.

Due to the small size of my classes, payments/deposits are non-refundable, as class numbers are hard to fill last minute, and materials have already been purchased. Your booking indicates that you understand and agree to this cancellation policy. Please email me if there is a compassionate reason for cancelling. Thank you for your understanding.
